Nominated and written by Binyomin Barman, NCSY advisor and alumnus
Ari is literally the reason why I am the person I am today.Today, I am an NCSY Advisor for NJ who has a passion for my Judaism and how to be a Jewish leader for our future generation.
Ari was there for me around the clock while I was in High School. Whether I needed to call him for a question regarding my social life, a Torah question or if I just needed to talk to him, he always made time for me! Ari inspires me because he taught me how it is important to always be the best you that you can be. Don’t look to become Ari Clark he would tell me. Be Binyomin Barman! This sticks with me daily.
When it was time to go to Yeshiva after High School, this was my chance to implement what Ari taught me. Work on becoming the best you that you can be! Today as an NCSY advisor, I always start my day by asking myself what can I do to ensure that I am the best Binyomin that I can be? Ari Clark has not only taught me to really persevere in every aspect of Judaism, but he has touched the lives of many NCSYers, whether from his hometown NJ region, his beloved Southern region, his TJJers, or his JOLTers. Ari, you always say you are so blessed to have your NCSYers because we made you who you are today! Now it is time we, your NCSYers show our Hakaros Hatov to you as one of the nominees of the NCSY’s – 60 Faces of Inspiration project!
