60 Faces of NCSY

Often, a person has no idea of the impact he or she has made on someone else. 60 Faces of NCSY was created to change that. The people we feature every day were nominated by NCSY alumni and NCSYers to express gratitude to someone that inspired them.

Rabbi Moshe Benovitz

Director NCSY Kollel

Nominated and written by Rabbi Netanel Lebowitz, Assistant Director NCSY Kollel

I have had the privilege of working with Rabbi Moshe Benovitz for the past 18 years. Rabbi Benovitz’s educational philosophy is “what more can we do?” While it is true that he encourages us to push our limits in effort and creativity to find ways to reach every single individual with an exciting brand of Judaism, his strongest tool is himself.

When we see his unfaltering commitment to being as great as he can be, it inspires us to do all we can for the NCSYers we deal with as well. He has taught us that with thought and will we can accomplish just about any chinuch goal.

I think of no one who deserves to be recognized as an inspiration more than Rabbi Moshe Benovitz.

Running a summer program with 150+ NCSYers and over 50 staff members is certainly not a simple task.
